It is kinda of PITA, you demand to go the CSP station for an inspection, and they give you a placard/tag that acts as a VIN, and so take all of that to the DMV for your registration.

Yous take to make a reservation to meet him and it was about a calendar month in accelerate or so. Y'all need receipt of what went into the trailer and 20$ cash. He looks over the trailer takes your license and goes in and makes copy's and gives you your vin number check. You then take to go to the county Clerck and they volition give yous the vin number plate and registration and plate.

I saw post 5. I was confirming the particular branch or part.
I trailered my POS HF trailer to the CSP mail that my county clerk office said would inspect it. CSP said I was SOL until i found a serial number. I pointed out if i had made the trailer from scratch there would certainly be a way to register information technology. They claimed "but you lot didn't and this could be stolen, sorry" in a very curt manner. And so i my yard it rusts.

Damn. I had a bill of sale (CL bought), and so that helped my cause, it was only a mitt written annotation though, you could probably but make i upward and effort again LOL.
My uncle titled his 4x8 folding HF trailer in Douglas canton. He had to run into with CSP in a narrow time window 1 day a week merely other then that it wasn't a large deal. I bought the trailer from him and it has a vin plackard and a normal championship now.

The trailer should have a VIN plate from HB simply CO won't use it so they requite y'all a plate to put on the trailer. Once y'all get the tag from CO that what information technology'south titled under. The inspection was actually easy as long equally you accept the paperwork showing you lot own it. Registration took about 30 min at Assessor and no problems over again with paperwork. Inspection was $20 and plates/title was $73.
